On July 8, the Outdoor Amphitheater in Orland Park, behind village hall
at 14700 South Ravinia Avenue, will play host to the smooth sounds of
Peter Love as this summer’s second act for Concerts on Ravinia. He will
be playing selections of pop, jazz, blues and R&B. Love, who was
featured in a past article, has kept himself very busy since the
Orland Park Prairie spoke with him last. Some may remember Love’s
mission for a national Save Our Children Day—he has been traveling from
city to city spreading his widely accepted message across the country
and the world.
“I’m on more radio and talk shows than ever before.” Love said
Love’s Save Our Children Day came about as he witnessed all the
negative imagery, ideas and stories that were affecting the children
of the world.
After stretching his message through a Save Our Children Day
(sponsored by Heavenly Host Ministries) down to Orland, Florida in
June, Love will be heading to Washington D.C. Aug. 18 as featured
entertainer for a program called “Children Need Both Parents.” Later
in Aug., Love will be going to Mississippi, for another Save Our
Children Day. He also has shows planned in Chicago, Indianapolis,
San Diego, Houston, Saint Louis and Paul’s Valley, Okla.
Love’s care for children has even caught hold in Hollywood as famed
actress and global humanitarian Angelina Jolie contacted Love the
day of this interview to be a part of her Angelina’s Angels program
with his Save Our Children songs and foundation.
Aside from his busy schedule, Love also finds time to write new
material that inspires a feeling of compassion to all who hear it.
“The songs I’ve written now are called ‘Clean Up the World’ and
‘Campaign for Better Health Care,” Love added. “I saw a documentary
regarding widespread pollution in our waters and things of that
nature, so as a result we have more abnormalities in our children. I
felt that needed to be included with my Save Our Children theme.”
He has also penned two other songs—“Let My Children Go” and “Clown
Honeybee.”
Both of these new releases are available to hear at
www.myspace.com/peterlovesoc and be sure to check out Love’s
smooth act on July 8 as he continues to spread his message in his
hometown of Orland Park. |
