The inspiration behind "Unbelievable."

The inspiration behind my song "Unbelievable" is the abuse and murder of 7 year-old Kayla, Allen. I first learned of little Kayla after my musical concert promoting anti-child abuse in Washington, DC. During post performance interviews, a women approached asking if I knew of Kayla and her fate. Unaware, she detailed me on the life and death of Kayla. I was truly shocked by this little girl' s unfortunate destiny. Yet, this is a common story that happens much to often to our children.

Upon my return home to Chicago, I learned that Joanna Wright, Founder and Director of Hope4KidZ Inc, was spearheading a campaign to raise funds for a tombstone and proper burial site for Kayla due to many mitigating factors. After talking with Joanna and learning of her sincere efforts to help Kayla's family, I volunteered to write a song to assist in accomplishing this mission. Thus my song, "Unbelievable."

Kayla's short life will not be in vain. Kayla is an Angel whose spirit lives on. Her eternal spirit will be the inspiration that saves the lives of other children who otherwise would have no hope . Kayla, you are "UNBELIEVABLE."

Proceeds from the sale of the "Unbelievable" CD will be donated directly to the Benevolent Account of Kayla Yvonne Allen at WA mutual Bank, under the direction of Hope4KidZ, Inc. My SOC (Save Our Children) Foundation will assist in any way possible.
